The Bachelor of Economics programme is designed to impart knowledge and develop the skills required to produce ethical professionals in the fast-growing field of Economics.  The program promotes critical and analytical thinking, decision making and problem-solving skills through teaching and learning. The methods of teaching and learning include the use of modern technology, case studies, industrial visits, professional/guest lecturers and practical training. Islamic economics and finance are niche areas.   The program offers specializations in Islamic Economics, International Economics, Development and Finance in addition to minor packages in Fiqh and Usul Fiqh, and Quran and Sunnah Studies.  The faculties are highly qualified and experienced staff of diverse backgrounds and specializations.

BFIF Past Year Papers

The Bachelor of Finance (Islamic Finance) with Honours (BFIF) programme is developed comprising of both conventional and Islamic finance disciplines. The programme aims to produce competent finance graduates who are equipped with solid foundation in the finance field who are capable of taking up leadership roles in major organizations and corporations with the view of achieving the Maqasid Al-Syariah.

BACC Past Year Papers

The Department of Accounting aims to produce accounting graduates who are professionally competent and observe ethical norms. As such, the accounting curriculum has been designed to provide the conceptual framework of accounting by integrating components of Islamic and accounting knowledge. In addition, the programme offers elective courses in specific areas of accounting to meet the need for accounting with an Islamic perspective such as Accounting for Islamic Banks, Zakat Accounting and Accounting, Auditing & Governance of Islamic Financial Institutions. The programme has been granted maximum exemption of examination papers by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and the CPA (Australia).
